The Qualified Clinical Hypnotherapist

As a qualified practitioner in hypnotherapy you will have acquired the expertise with which to help relieve suffering and discomfort in others. Just as importantly you will also have understood that there are certain limitations to hypnotherapy. Healing skills carry an enormous responsibility and are a tremendous gift when used appropriately.

The LCCH has always maintained a close and special relationship with our students. After you have graduated personal supervision is available and help for a difficult case can be as close as a phone call or email.

The LCCH conducts and encourages on-going scientific research. Awaiting publication are the results of a study with the Heart Hospital, London. The LCCH is also currently involved in a comparative study in smoking cessation between hypnotherapy, nicotine patches and Zyban.

LCCH (Asia) works in close collaboration with the Academy of Family Physicians (AFPM) who accredit the Certificate, Diploma and Practitioners courses and recommend them to both medical and all allied health care professionals.

LCCH Malaysia is currently establishing research into pain management using clinical hypnosis with the University Hospital, Kuala Lumpur - particularly with patients suffering from brachial factures. Other developments include a proposed training module for Occupational Therapists at a major government hospital.

LCCH Asia works closely with the European Journal of Clinical Hypnosis and students will be encouraged to submit research, articles and details of case histories for publication.

The First LCCH Asia Clinic will open in Kuala Lumpur in 2008.
