THE PRACTITIONER REGISTRATION TRAINING PROGRAMME
A course requirement is that students receive regular clinical supervision as part of the training and a minimum of six sessions is requirement during this eight month course. The programme itself is an intensive eight-weekend course following on from the Advanced Training for Clinical Hypnotherapists and successful student receive the prestigious Practitioner Registration Training Programme in Clinical Hypnosis (PDCHyp.) This qualification provides entry as a full member to the British Society of Clinical Hypnosis MBSCH. MBSCH members may be accepted as accociate members of the British Association of Medical Hypnosis. Medical doctors are eligible for full membership to the British Association of Medical Hypnosis. Students will explore advanced hypnotic techniques and develop skills to combine these in hypnotherapeutic practice. Advanced inductions and Deepeners are also included. You will also learn complex dissociative approaches, and more complex child-therapy techniques. Considerable time is given to solution focused therapy, the application of quantum therapy and strategic paradoxical therapeutic interventions. In addition, students will explore the effectiveness of EMDR along with the clinical applications of hypnosis in the treatment of somatic and psychogenic disorder. Important additional skills such as ethical practice, counselling, stress management and psychiatry also form part of the course curriculum.
Receiving your Certification Award from UKStudents completing the Practitioner Registration Training programme may submit their confirmation letter from LCCH Asia to the LCCH UK and receive the London College of Clinical Hypnosis Certificate of Clinical Hypnosis. This qualification is recognised by the British University System (British Open University). There is no charge for this internationally recognised qualification. Students are also eligible for accreditation from the Academy of Family Physicians although a small fee of S$350 is payable.
